History

Franz Kroha senior (1934 – 2014) founded the company in 1970 as a classic print shop in Hausham , Bavaria. Jointly with his wife Lotte, he managed a solid and personal business for different kinds of print products, which he expanded continously.

In the 90s, the Kroha Druck GmbH became steadily a producer of paper and cardboard packaging materials for medical and technical products. Because of the successful specialization, a continued healthy growth and stimulating enthusiasm for new technologies, an excellent company was developed with 2 plants which complement each other in an harmonized interaction.

With state-of-the art industrial printers, enabled and supported by a high-tech machine park, employees are able to put their quality philosphy into practice for their demanding market segments. The name Kroha is now a permanent synonym for quality products in the packaging products business.

Today, Kroha GmbH produces hundreds of millions of packaging components in the factories of Miesbach and Barleben with 250 employees for the pharmaceutical industry and other growth markets.
